Movement is Life

Total Body Development offers the finest in personalized ‘concierge-level’ attention. Comprehensive physical therapy services are delivered in a private one-on-one clinical practice without the use of aides or assistants. Initial consultation and evaluation is composed of discussion of the goals and needs of the client, followed by biomechanical observation and administration of tests. Palpation and manual, hands-on, therapy, help to determine the nature of the problem, and to jumpstart the neuromuscular re-education process. Each client leaves with a personalized treatment plan.

Recent Announcements

“I’m happy to announce the recent addition of an Erchonia PL 5000™ 3LT® Laser into my practice. Low-level laser (LLL) therapy was only recently FDA-approved for such human therapeutic uses as pain control in the neck and shoulder, bone healing and burn treatment. After performing due diligence for over a year in the research of this new technology and its therapeutic applications, I chose to be trained by Erchonia Medical because they were the first to receive the FDA 510(k) Market Clearance for the treatment of chronic pain, as well as receiving ISO 13485 certification. This compact Erchonia unit emits synchronized beams of light, which can be applied at 4 frequencies at once.

“Physical therapists have always used ‘modalities’ in their treatment regimens. These ‘modalities’ come in the form of heat, cold, light, electricity and sound. Always remember that no one modality is a panacea; all of our treatment techniques perform different functions.

“I urge you to be wary of anyone who purports to ‘cure’ all conditions with any one approach, whether by means of body work or laser technology. Unfortunately these assertions are likely naïve, and may create a false impression by ignoring the complexity of the human body and psyche. A practitioner’s skilled intervention, and the healing miracle, happens when practitioners match treatment techniques with correct diagnosis, client participation, and navigating the often circuitous route of the dynamics of healing to achieve the ultimate goal of wellness.” - Dr. Suzanne Martin
